Soooo... this is a little late, but GENERAL ELECTION RESULTS.

Soooo, this is a little late, but I thought I'd have a little talk about the general election results. If you hadn't figured it out already, I'm a Labour supporter. I didn't want to comment too much on the results until we knew the full extent, and it has only been announced today that Theresa May's coalition with the DUP has been officially confirmed. First of all, if you're not

already familiar with the DUP, let me fill you in on a few of their... not so popular opinions.

- Anti aborition

- Anti same sex marriage

- Climate change deniers

- Doesn't believe in evolution

- ... basically, they're bible bashing, homophobic, crazy people, in my humble opinion.

Anyway, the point is, this party are so out of line with today's modern society, it's hard to comprehend how they are even a thing! Yet our Prime Minister, Mrs May herself, has absolutely no problem in creating a coalition with them, after her horrific defeat, in response to an election held to gain a majority, and only resulted in the loss of that majority. I'll give the woman one thing, she is the only prime minister to run unelected, then hold an election, lose that election and still be the prime minister.

So, it's unclear what kind of cabinet positions will be held between the Conservative MPs and the Democratic Unionist Party MPs, but say hello to the ugly sisters, (I like to call them) who will be running our country for the foreseeable future. They're not great people, and I can't say that I'm proud to have them as our leaders, but let's look at Jeremy Corbyn for a moment, a man who I have never been more proud of.

Jeremy Christ, the man JC, Jezza, these are just some of the many names that I have heard flying around to describe the legend that is Corbyn. Our generation, adore him, he's become a part of popular culture, an icon even across social media, music festivals, football games and other events. Even as far as the pyramid stage at Glastonbury. The bottom line is, Jeremy Corbyn's success in this general election was more than anyone could have imagined, he wiped the floor with the opinion polls and proved to every MP that ever doubted him, that he is a worthy, strong and popular Labour leader. A lot of people had to eat their words after the election results, many people who thought that Corbyn couldn't handle the weight of being prime minister, had to take back their comments, after Jeremy arrived back to the House of Commons in style, gaining a standing ovation from his increased government in parliament.

This was an incredible victory and success for him, and I honestly believe that we would have won a landslide in this election, if the Labour Party MPs hadn't been as hesitant to back Corbyn from the very beginning. Now that they have more respect for the man, I have full hopes and would be willing to put money on Jeremy Corbyn winning the next general election,

Anyway, that's my thoughts on the occasion, so here is the actual results in case you were living on Mars and you missed it...
