It has been announced earlier this year, that the closure of the Liverpool Women's Hospital and it's movement and downsize to a singular ward inside the new Liverpool Royal Hospital, is to go ahead by January 2017. A campaign has now been launched to stop the plans and save the Liverpool Women's hospital.
